Is this slo-pitch/3-pitch/softball?
No, we play baseball, which is the same game played in the major leagues by professional teams like the Toronto Blue Jays. We play on premium full-sized baseball diamonds, with 90' base paths and grass infields. It is regular baseball, with overhand pitching, base stealing, etc..
Is this a co-ed league?
Yes, this is a recreational league and both men and women are welcome.
What is the cost?
The registration fee for 2012 is $125 per player.
How do I sign up?
Registration for the 2012 season will begin in January, 2012. We will fill four teams to a maximum of 15 players per team. It is first-come, first-served, so the first 60 registrants will guarantee their spots.
If you are interested, we recommend that you send us an e-mail with your first and last name to get on our mailing list. We will send out new information periodically and this is the best way to ensure that you are kept up-to-date.
How are teams selected?
We will hold a two hour evaluation practice before the season starts. At the conclusion of the practice, the coaches/managers of the teams will meet privately to choose teams.
Can I play on the same team as my friend?
We can place friends together on the same team as long as it still allows us to distribute the skill and experience as evenly as possible amongst all four team.
